Dr. Frayser and Tom Campell recruited one of the most experienced staffs of any hair clinic in the world. Registered Nurse Betty Studier and her assistant Clara Prather, with 39 and 24 years of experience in surgical hair restoration respectively, helped to solidify The Hair Transplant Center as one of the top hair replacement clinics in the world.

Dr. J. Scott Frayser is an accomplished doctor in the areas of internal medicine and surgical hair transplants. After graduating from Oral Roberts University School of Medicine in Tulsa, Oklahoma, Dr. Frayser continued his post-graduate studies in Denver, Colorado. After completing his residency in Internal Medicine at Saint Luke’s Hospital, Denver Presbyterian Hospital and Aurora Presbyterian, he served as a member of the Clinical Faculty as well as beginning his own medical practice in Denver. He was soon recruited by Hillcrest Medical Center, in Tulsa, Oklahoma.

After moving back to Tulsa in 1995, Dr. Frayser and his friend, Tom Campbell, were talking about the surgical hair transplant procedure that Tom had received. After visiting with the doctor that performed Tom's procedure, Dr. Frayser and Tom decided to open the Hair Transplant Center in Tulsa, Oklahoma. After Dr. Frayser studied with several doctors in the hair transplant field, the clinic was opened in 1997 with the most experienced and highly-trained staff available.

The Hair Transplant Center was so successful that within a short time, Dr. Frayser gave up his practice in Internal Medicine to devote himself full-time to surgical hair transplants. He enjoys the busy schedule and meeting the patients that come to the Hair Transplant Center from every part of the world.

Betty Ann Studier, R.N., started performing surgical hair replacement in 1965, when she started the procedure with Dr. O’Tar Norwood M.D. She also assisted in the development of the Norwood Classification Scale, which is used by most hair restoration surgeons and their staffs.

Ms. Studier has performed every type of hair transplant and has a full understanding of the benefits of each. She has been doing this very successfully for 40 years. She personally trained Clara Prather, who has been her assistant for 23 of those years and is currently assisting her at our clinic in Tulsa.
